I am pleased to announce:
Cultural Crossroads
An International Mail Art Show, July 1 - 31 at the Plainsboro Library Gallery.

This bookmarker mail art show has over 140 entries from more than 60 artists in 22 countries, including:  Denmark, The Netherlands, Venezuela, Singapore, Japan, Canada, Portugal, Germany, France, Guatemala, Brazil, Chile, Italy, Finland, the UK, Australia, Turkey, Belgium, Laos, Russia, South Africa and the United States.   Read about it in the Princeton Packet.

To create this show, I sent out letters to mail artists who have contributed to shows I have been part of, and posted a call for bookmarkers for this show on various websites.  The entries were varied and wonderful, many creative collages, original drawings and paintings, words and languages and stamps from the far corners of the world.
It made getting my mail for the last few months quite a treat.

Here is a video showing some of the amazing bookmarkers sent in the show:

and here is a video to show you the 20 bookmarkers we chose to be auctioned
at the International Dinner to benefit the new Plainsboro library.
These bookmarkers represent the amazing and generous art work sent in from all over the world - and the creativity, skill, and wit
shown here makes me feel that the world is going to make it, even in this time of chaos and change.
Thank you to ALL the artists - choosing these was so hard because all 142 bookmarkers
we received could have just have easily been on this red wall of fame.
ART builds community and connection - as is proved here in this work.
EnJoY!
