Although
professionally trained as an architect, I currently work in digital art, mixed media collage, and
computer graphics; I also teach a workshop in creative
journaling which, to my joy, has me traveling around the
country (well - at least around New Jersey - a girl can
dream!)
I have studied at the
University of Maryland, the Ecole de Beaux-Arts in
Aix-en-Provence, France, and with Walt Bartman at the Yellow Barn
Gallery in Bethesda, Maryland. I have a graduate degree in architecture, and two
undergraduate degrees, in fine art and architecture.
I have taught at Mercer County
Community College in the Visual Arts Department, and in the
past have been director of the Barrie School Summer Arts
Practicum, afternoon teacher of art at Pyle Middle School, Brookmont
Church Center in Bethesda, Maryland, the Munce Art Center in
Zionsville, Indiana, as well as directing the Brookmont Arts Alliance, a
link between
the community and the arts in Bethesda, Maryland.
I have shown my work at numerous galleries and art centers in New York,
Maryland, Indiana, Georgia, New Jersey and Washington D.C.
