Altered books are a form of
collage that takes old (or new) books
and alters the pages in many ways - adding photographs, stamping, paint,
cutting and folding pages, or having windows and hidden pockets
installed.
I love the freedom to take something old and add new layers to it.
Often the books are traded among artists and become collaborative works.
